About This Course

Perched majestically at 900 meters altitude on Mont Agel, the Monte-Carlo Golf Club offers one of the most breathtaking golfing experiences in Europe. Founded in 1911 by Scottish architect Willie Park Jr., this legendary course combines rich heritage with spectacular panoramic views stretching from Monaco's glittering harbor to the azure Mediterranean Sea. The challenging 18-hole mountain layout winds through fragrant pine forests and rocky outcrops, demanding precision and strategic thinking on every shot. The course's dramatic elevation changes create a unique playing experience where each hole reveals new vistas of the French Riviera coastline below. As one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs on the Côte d'Azur, Monte-Carlo Golf Club has hosted countless distinguished guests and maintains the elegant atmosphere befitting its royal connections. The clubhouse, a beautifully restored 1920s building, offers refined dining with terrace views that alone are worth the visit. The cooler mountain air provides welcome relief during summer months, making this an ideal year-round destination. Whether you're a low handicapper seeking a challenge or a visitor wanting to experience golfing history, Monte-Carlo delivers an unforgettable round.
